Ribeye Pasta Chifferi

Steak Ingredients
Ribeye 1 big piece (cut off the fatty and use it for stir-fried veggies)
Salt and pepper for seasoning
Olive oil 1 tsp
Rosemary 2 tsps
Steak Instruction
Unfrozen the steak and wipe the surface with kitchen paper.
Apply seasoning on top (I normally twist sea salt and black pepper for 4-5 times each side).
Put olive oil and massage the steak to ensure oil is surround the entire steak (When we cook the steak, no oil will be placed in frying pan).
Leave it on aside for 15 minutes.
Heat frying pan with high heat. When the frying pan is hot, put the steak in and fry each side under high heat. When the oil starts melting from one side of steak in pan, apply rosemary on top to add the flavour and smell. For medium rare, cook each side around 1 minute and let it cool for 3 minutes with wrapping aluminium foil.
Step 5 👆🏾is suggested to be done after the pasta is cooked.
Pasta ingredients
Steak fat 2 pieces
Chifferi 1.5 bowls
Salt
Pasta water 1.5 bowls
Garlic 1.5 tsp (minced)
Olives 7 pieces
Tomatoes 2 (the original recipe suggests to use cherry tomato but I recently find the normal 🍅 looks fresh and cheap so I picked regular one)
Zucchini 1
Lemon half to squeeze juice
Parmesan cheese (grated) half bowl
Red pepper flakes
Parsley as you like
Pasta instruction
Boil enough water to cook Chifferi. When the water is boiled, put salt and a piece of steak fat in. Wait a while until the salt and fat are melted (the fat may not melt thoroughly & it’s ok). Put Chifferi and then constantly stir it until al dente.
Pour 1.5 bowls of pasta water and set aside and then drain the water out of the pan.
Heat a frying pan with high heat and then melt a steak fat with medium heat. When it’s enough oil for stir fry, you can take out the steak fat.
Stir fry garlic and then put tomatoes and olives in. Continue stir fry until tomatoes turn red instead of orange.
Add zucchini, red pepper flakes and parsley to stir well. Pour the pasta water and lemon juice into the pot. Cook until boil.
Apply Parmasan cheese until the sauce gets thicker/dry
Taste it and add salt if needed~
